Will, why are all your Democrats such hateful people?
They threaten to kill the opposition. Is that not what you did a while back, paint the Republican party as all hateful racists due to allegations of racists threats during the H.C. vote ? I would like to add, those allegations are still unsubstantiated. The death threat to Cantor is not an unproven allegation.

Democrats/Liberals are angry, hateful people because of the following reason:
They hate God. That's it. All of their problems (mental, financial, etc) stem from this. Since they refuse the only one who can bring peace and wholeness and restoration, they don't have any of these things. They try to arrange for it themselves. So, essentially, they worship themselves. Soon though, they find out that things aren't really working out like they had hoped. Life is much harder than it should be. Things don't go as planned. Since they worship themselves and they are their own god, the blame can only be theirs. There is no one else to turn to. They've spent a lifetime "arranging" their life so they wouldn't have to depend on anyone else. Then they find out that they can't do it. As you can imagine, this would be disappointing. To find out after all this time of thinking that "you had it all together" or "you didn't need anyone or anything"? Then you find out that you're inadequate. You can't do it alone. You DO need something else. Obviously, this disappoints them. So their anger about the difficulty of life comes out in little things day to day. Arguments with the wife. Fights with the kids. Becomes a jerk at work. Posts messages online to dishonor someone else- at least that makes them FEEL like they are important again, like they have some sort of power. It's false, of course, but they don't know that. All they know is, their life is out of their control and they don't know why, so it turns to anger and bitterness. The interesting thing about unhappy people is that when they are going under, they try to pull everyone else down with them. Misery loves company. Liberals are the most miserable, hateful, racist, self loathing people that there are. The word that comes to mind is... empty. They have nothing to offer to other people, and they're mad about it. They are barely surviving themselves. You can't give out of an empty tank. But notice- they want everyone else to be just like them. Isn't that funny?
I always think of this line... "Every man worships something". So true. Some worship money, others worship work, or friends, or sex, or food. Liberals worship themselves. What a huge disappointment. I'd probably be angry and bitter too.

And the salve they use to lessen the pain is to keep telling themselves they are smarter than everyone else.
There is a term in Psychology (the name escapes me at the moment) in which you put your fears upon other people and assume that is what they are as well. If you are a racist then you put that outlook upon other people (whether true or not) and assume that is what they are as well.
So I always find it interesting that it is the liberals who use terms like "fascist, racist, homo-phobe, hate-monger, etc., etc."
From what Trees posted and that psych theory, it makes you realize that what liberals are really doing is describing themselves when they go off on their crazed rants.

There is a term in Psychology (the name escapes me at the moment) in which you put your fears upon other people and assume that is what they are as well. If you are a racist then you put that outlook upon other people (whether true or not) and assume that is what they are as well.

Or, maybe Projection: "The unconscious act of denial of a person's own attributes, thoughts, and emotions, which are then ascribed to the outside world, such as to the weather, the government, a tool, or to other people. Thus, it involves imagining or projecting that others have those feelings."

How about the Hutarees? Nobody loves God more than they do, so of course they can't be angry or hateful people just because they planned to assassinate a police officer and then set off a bomb to kill all of the officers who would attend the funeral. If mass murder is a sign of anger and hate then the Hutarees must be God hating liberals and are just trying to make everyone think they are God loving conservatives.
The premise of this thread has got to be about the stupidest thing I have ever seen on HNI and that is saying something.
