Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Some simple questions from us ordinary folks...

Ok..I'm not the smartest guy on here so can I please ask some simple questions about the health care..

1.. I'm a teacher and have Blue Cross Blue Shield..
In 2014 when this new health plan kicks in..will I still have my Blue Cross..

2. Say my bring home is 3500 a month..will it be less then because I'll be paying for other folks who can't afford it?

3.For the poor folks who have nothing..will they simply go into a hospital and get services for free...and will their age and stage of their sickness come into play? In other words..the government deciding who gets the expensive care and who does not?

Thanks folks,
C7

Today has enough trouble of it's own.

One of the things that has troubled me lately started in the local paper. Town near by had some problems with kids and it was taken up by the council. The problem had to do with kids hanging out in the streets riding wheeled things. I can understand the frustration of the towns folks as the kids lack respect for others however, I've never lived through a war torn time but I've read about and seen them. I wonder if those terrible times come here how much the people who have a problem with kids messing around, will long to see kids play with not much else to worry about. I wonder if at some time in the near future if I will not know the pleasure of seeing my kids sleep peacefully in their beds every night. I'm thankful for the days given.

Chuck to answer your questions.
1. No, you will not continue to have BCBS insurance, they along with the other private insurers will be forced out of business. Since they won't be able to continue to pay out for the care of those with cancer or heart disease or some other generally terminal but highly expensive disease or malady.

2.Yes, you taxes will go up thus pushing your net take home pay even farther down. After the Bush tax cuts are allowed to expire, than the true cost of nationalized health care will be realized ever further as those who don't care to pay for insurance will still continue to use the ER wards at the nearest hospital as their Primary Care locations.

As well the influx of ever more Illegal Aliens will further stress an already over burdened heath care system, now that they still don't have to pay for services but the doctors still are required to provide health care in the ER wards, as they already do.

3.Yes, care rationing will take over. Being that the new Health Care system will be run by incompetent Government Bureaucrats, interested more in keeping their jobs than making sure that all who apply for care a treated safely, in a reasonable amount of time and with the utmost professionalism.

NODOG, sadly, with the crew in office today those time are very near to the horizon.
