Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

So, how long is it before that tree of freedom needs watering?

The problem is that the talk keeps on coming up from the left. I'm certainly worried. I would withdraw all of my money before it could go into law and ship it overseas. I fear one day I will have to do just that.

Just love how this is writen:
Quote:
“The failure is broad and deep. It's not just a few people falling through the cracks: most of us already are in the ravine. Three in 10 have only a 401(k) or similar savings plan, and the rest of us are totally out of luck," said Eisenbrey.
How about changing that last part to ....and the rest of us are just plain too stupid!

Part of the problem is that Social Security and the Unions have overpromised on what they can deliver. Both are giant ponzi schemes. And, taxpayers get left holding the bag...

The Value Added Tax (VAT) is likely soon on the agenda too. Those Dems just LOVE taking your $ for their next entitlement program.

I have both an IRA and a 401k, neither contain nearly enough for me to retire on. If they even come close to passing this commie crapola it won't take long for me to decide that since I now have no hope of retiring I might just as well have a large chunk of cash to pay off my home, hopefully with enough left over to buy a jon boat so that at least I'll be able to keep putting food on the table. Or I might just ditch it all, buy a larger boat, and sail to a different Third World country to live in.
