That's one way to look at it. I seem to remember the shoe being on the other foot while Bush was in office. I hope that your able to maintain your high standards when the winds change. I'll expect you to be just as harsh on your own when the next "Bush" is in office and vile abuses are hurled at him or her.
You haven't uttered vile hatred things about Sarah Palin, have you? You've always shone her respect while disagreeing with her views I'm sure.
I'm curious if you could quote the reason given by our government for electing representation? I don't believe it states they are elected to do the majorities will.
One hole in that idea, The majority of the people did not want this bill passed but the arrogant bastids did it anyway, I hope they pay for it big time in November.
Show me something that isn't from GlenBeck.com or DickCheney.com saying the majority of Americans oppose the health care bill please. You can make whatever claims you want, but without backing them up they have no validity.

Why is it when lib groups shut down the streets, throw bricks through windows & make movies & books about how to assassinate a Republican president, it's called "civil dissent", but when action comes from the right (most of the worst of it unsubstantiated) you libbie's get all whiney?

Vince - don't recall any Democrat Militia groups applauding the April 19th date and showing up at speeches with guns hooked to their body trying to threaten everyone. I am a gun owner and lover, but those actions had nothing to do with guns.
Also, don't listen to Rush and Hannity regarding America wanting health care. BHO ran on the Health Care ticket and delivered what he promised 100% of the time. he won by a huge majority.
Democracy won and will continue to prevail as long as those that are in the minorirty today do not try to destroy it.

Hey Will, why are all the liberal congressman crying about being threatened. I have a friend who was a state Rep. (David Counts ) and I can assure you, threats are part of the game. It is pretty stupid to give the threats a podium. Also, how about the bullets getting shot in the houses of Republicans? Oh yea, I guess its only bad if it happens to a dem.
Just call it what it is, a facist tactic to try to paint all opposition as animals.

Here you go... Article showing polls before the bill went through and after. 55% believe it should be repealed. Last time I checked, that was a majority.
What was and what is isn't the same. 50% voted him in, but look at the Rasmussen poll about his approval rating now and you'll see he hasn't had a 50% approval rating in nearly a year. Besides, what does it matter how many voted him in if the majority don't want the health care. Just because someone was voted in doesn't mean they have the right to do unpopular things. It's a goverment of the people, for the people, remember?
