Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

"Don't blame me, I voted for McCain!"

I guess that might have turned out differently, but I doubt it.

So the answer is for the Representative to do as the people demand? Might work but is an action that has got us here.

I've read some history but not near enough for my years and partly because it's pretty lonely. An educated public would be much different than what we have today.

For starters people would know the history of President Wilson's last days and the nomination and election of Harding. Very much similar to what just happened under Bush and into Obama.

Hardings administration brought us the first cabinet officer to go to prison. Hardings father said of him "It's a good thing you wasn't born a girl. Because you'd be in the family way all the time. You can't say No." Hardings administration was very corrupt filled with his friends. On one account Alice Roosevelt Longworth found the white house study filled with the presidents cronies "the air thick with tobacco smoke, trays containing bottles with every imaginable brand of whiskey,... cards and poker chips at hand-a general atmosphere of waistcoat unbuttoned, feet on the desk, with spittoons alongside." Some of his cabinet committed suicide. It is an administration some compare in the level of corruption to Grants. Both being used. Harding before he died in office complained about his friends (language prevents me from a quote). He said he had no problems with his enemy's, his friends kept him walking the floors at night.

Why was he elected? People hated Wilson. Nothings changed. Even when the coruption was revealed those that revealed it were branded and draged through the streets as trouble makers.

As far as a speaker goes a man named McAdoo observed that Hardings speech's "leave the impression of an army of pompous phrases moving over the landscape searching for an idea;sometimes these meandering words would actually capture a struggling thought and bear it triumphantly, a prisoner in their midst, until it died of servitude and over work."

People say that of Obama. Understand that this trend that the democrats used to remove Bush, in this case, was taught to them by the republicans of Wilson's day.

Do you really want your Representative to do what the majority tells them to do? If you do be prepared, it will come back to haunt us.

Thanks for post this idea up Jr.( i already emailed my ppl)

Ppl do need to get organized more( including me)

I dont mind at all that i live in a state where the dems are just a monority & few ppl vote for them( im guessing there will be even less).O bamamay won nothing here or because of us here- not the popular vote or the electoral votes.

We(wy) have no dems in DC.

We may not have union thugs or the new black panther party on our side to help us terrorize the voters.( and im glad for that)

But states( and there ppl) need to do more to make sure another idiot like Bo dosnt get elected. All should do what they can to help.

I to voted for McCain . And bush( not perfect but thats ok) 2x,s etc and id vote for him in a blink of a eye over who leads this country now.
