I think we need to do what ever it takes to add this Amendment to the constitution.

"Congress shall make no law that applies to the citizens of the United States that does not apply equally to the Senators and Representatives; and, Congress shall make no law that applies to the Senators and Representatives that does not apply equally to the citizens of the United States

I'll buy that but go a step further and deny them any benefit other than wages and retirement contribution comparable to what they had before entering Congress to cease when they leave.

The incompetent **** wads that rammed health care down our throats and exempted themselves from the same health care sure as hell won't go for this.

If it happens it won't happen until 2011 after we have hopefully voted these bastards out. Right now there is no point in wasting the energy and money.

While at it, lets add another:

Congress shall spend no more money than what it takes in in taxes and other revenue. The only exception shall be in time of war.

It could still be accomplished via a national referendum, and there's nothing they could do about it. The Obamacare law could be expunged the same way. We sometimes forget that the sheeple have the last word if they choose to use it.
