Obama's senior advisor, David Axelrod, miffed at McCain's opposition to healthcare, said that his tactics belonged on the sandlot... The reply from McCain's spokesperson:
Quote:
Spokeswoman for Arizona Senator John McCain, Brooke Buchanan, released the following statement today in response to Mr. Axelrod's recent comments concerning Senator John McCain: "When Republicans wanted to circumvent Senate rules to end the Democrats' abuse of the filibuster against judicial nominees, Senator McCain opposed it. When President Obama made the tough decision to send additional troops to Afghanistan, Senator McCain, again put his country first, and supported the decision. When the Obama Administration and Congressional Democrats misuse the reconciliation process to overcome Republican opposition to a health care bill that used sham accounting to plunge the country deeper in debt, Senator McCain opposes it.
"Senator John McCain will always stand on the side of the American people.
"Get used to it, Mr. Axelrod, that's what strong, independent members do - you'd know that if you had ever worked for one."
Axelrod, of course, works for Obama. I'm sure y'all get the implication....
At this point, a "jab" does little for me. I'd like to see something a little more drastic, even revolutionary.
I personally would like to see a good Ole fashion kick south of the Mendoza line....just to start the revolution. I know it's not civil, but revolutions rarely are.

Where's Chuck Norris when you need him? Roundhouse kick to the head!!!
He is far from being an empty suit, and to make that call can be dangerous. He definately has an agenda and the people around him are intelligent enough to see it through. They have taken small steps for generations to reach this time in our countries history. Social justice is on the march and Liberty is the ground they tend to walk on. To bank on a mid term election to slow or stop this Socialist takeover is a hail Mary pass in the last quarter, and a bandaid thought. One may isolate the the problem momentarially, but they will still be on the sidelines waiting for the next game to begin. The real battle is for the minds of our countrymen who have lost their individual identity from years of social propaganda wrapped up and packaged in our American Flag.
