Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Looks like I'll be going to jail then, there's no way that I can afford $1000 per month for something I'm currently paying $320 per month for. "Affordable health insurance" is rapidly becoming the biggest oxymoron in history.

It's unbelieveable that they can get away with so many blatent lies. We expect some fudging by politicians, but good grief...bho and crew make clinton and his cronies look like saints by comparison.

I guess they think that if the people were stupid enough to elect him, they are stupid enough to believe anything he says. Unfortunately that is probably true of most of the people that voted for him.

Well... Might as well turn myself in for jail time now. We make well over the amount at which we would qualify for any of the federal subsidies, so, I'll be stuck paying over $15,000 out of my pocket. I don't really have that much extra cash laying around each year.

Every person who supports this is a moron. Every person who votes for the procedure to "deem" the bill passed, as Pelosi, et al are attempting, is pissing on the Constitution.

What happened to "I will not raise taxes on anyone making less than $250,000 per year"? Liars. Thieves. Traitors. All of them.

I will be heading to jail as well. Looks like the lazy asses of the country are bout to finally sink it.

Its a sad day when people think they deserve the wealth of another while they are sitting on their can with the exact same opportunities as those they expect to subsidize their lack of motivation and laziness...

When we're all in jail, the government can pay for our health care. They can pay to feed, clothe, and house us too! I am glad that a black American has been elected president. That is a far cry from the ghetto. It's just too damn bad that the rest of may wind up in the ghetto.

Default Sorry Jeep they must of yanked it, but here it is from another site

If Congress passes the Senate health-care plan, according to an analysis by the Congressional Budget Office, American families will be required by federal law to buy a federally approved health insurance plan that will cost a minimum of $12,000 per year--and, on average, will cost $15,000 per year -- whether their employer or the government helps them with the premium or not.
Beginning in 2014, the Senate plan would require all individuals to buy health insurance. Anyone who does not obtain insurance through an employer would be forced to buy it out of their own pocket. Families of four that make up to 400 percent of poverty level--currently $88,200 per year--would receive a subsidy from the government to help pay for their premiums. That subsidy would attenuate as their income increased and would disappear when their income reached the 400 percent of poverty level. Families earning more than $88,200 a year (or whatever 400 percent of the poverty level equals in any given year) would be entirely on their own. Under the Senate bill, employers would not be required to purchase health insurance for their workers, and if they decided not to do so, the maximum penalty they would have to pay would be $750 per year for each worker they did not insure who subsequently received a federal subsidy to buy insurance. The $750 penalty on employers who decided not to insure their workers would be far less than they would pay in premiums for the $12,000 minimum required plan.
