You are right. I finally realized that the insurance companies and those Same Republicans that ran our country into the toilet who now say they are a "different" Republican are the ones I should listen to.
They only have the good of the country in mind. That is why 100% of them vote against every bill.
Read the bill and stop listening to Rush, Hannity and Beck. And try just for a couple hours to think about what you have read.
I had the opportunity (sitting in my hotel at State Championships waiting for my son and team to compete these past couple days) to really spend a great deal of time reading the bill. Lots and Lots of BS to get through, but what you hear on AM radio and FOX is not even close to what is really going to happen. Amazingly different. How could the lies go on and on for so long and no one being called on those lies. I would challenge Rush and Hannity to a challenge. Go through 2 shows without saying 25 mistruths about the bill and what it will do. If they could, I could switch my party affililation to Republican. If they couldn't they would apologize to their listeners.

I heard a blurb on the radio saying that during the first census there was a $20 fine for not providing the requested info. That probably represented at least one months salary for the typical person, so it was actually pretty steep.
The more info they collect the more demographic data they have in terms of allotting money for particular programs or for profiling particular areas.

Uh, doh, because the bill has actually nothing to do with improving health care, it is all about the power grab and how to keep people on the government tit so that they won't oppose them when the really hideous stuff starts, your just too STUPID to see it.

How about you list one 'mistruth' from Rush's show today, or yesterday. I didn't listen to it, as I almost never do, but I'd be very surprised if you can list one lie that came out of Rush's mouth. I'm not referring to anything he says sarcastically. I know moronic liberal media eats it up when he makes sarcastic comments. I'm talking about an incident of him telling a lie; one that you have proof of.
Back to the thread (since I am not going to hold my breath for Will to produce anything), are there any Rush listeners here? What's he saying about the census questions? I guess I could just google it but this is simpler.
