Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

I personally am giving them number in household and the info for me minus phone number,I am not giving them any info on my wife or my children.I don't make a habit out of giving just anyone my childrens names, and ages especially people I don't trust and right now I don't trust our government as far as I could throw them.
I have more of a problem with the fact that they came out to everyones house last year and took GPS coordinates from everyones front door,my wife was home when they came and asked why they needed this and they would not answer the question, wish I would have been home,I would have told them this is private property, I pay my taxes and then some and if you don't have a warrant to tresspass, hit the road.
I see no reason why they need this info,I called and asked why and they would not give me an answer.
We are living in some scary times right now our government will not listen to us,and think they know whats best for you and me, because apparently we're to dumb to take care of ourselves.
GOD BLESS US ALL!!

We had the census form delivered to us Monday afternoon by a worker at our front door. On the race question I am torn between writing in American, and The Daytona 500. I guess I'll decide here in the next few days.

Seems to me they only need to know the number of ppl( and are they citizens of the USA) - to take a head count.

I dont see where any of the other should matter to them or why they would want that other info or how its of use- usefull to them...

Was thinking of writing on the form-( in small letters)

Without DNA testing- im not sure who i am- other them
"I AM" a member of the human race & a citizen of this country(USA) legally & otherwise.

Could be long ago my forfathers walked out of africa & the garden of eden- eve etc both?

Just a mostly -white? human honky(redneck?/red stater) type who may have had kin who migrated from & to various parts of the world on there lifes journeys.

My Race, my sex, age or my relations with or sex of the persons living with me or do we own our home or do we have a morgage etc etc - seems nosey & none of uncle sammys business to me.

But your the goverment( and here to help me, you say)? But if you want & need to know that info- its public knowlege & part of the various stats & info that is already out there - so look it up( didnt you write it down last time?)- its ok-you have my pemission ( might save us a few $$$ to)

Maybe if you gave out "free" boxes of Uncle Sammy/Obamamay cereal to & payed a dollar per question, more ppl would be willing to comply( a higher% of ) to all the questions on & to the questionaires?

I heard a rumor ya got a lot of "free money"- you got from(US?).... somewhere?

I am slightly perturbed about the cost. They spent hundreds of millions mailing out post cards telling us that they'd be mailing out census forms in a week. They spent hundreds of millions on those stupid Ed Begley Jr. TV ads. I heard that this census is going to cost more than the cumulative total of all previous censuses.

Gotta funnel that money to SEIU and ACORN somehow.

Yeah, I think the spending is what has me so bent out of shape. It’s just another example of liberal hypocrisy. “You need to fill this out entirely so your community can get the money that they deserve”. Who’s money? How about just letting the community keep its money????

I think that I’m going to skip questions about race, names, and anything about my house. (I might put American for race…that’s a good idea C. Davis or whoever said it) I do wish someone could list a reason, even if it’s not a good one, why they want to know about the house, names, and race. What could they possibly do with those data?

Well, I did hear the head guy say for every percentage tick upwards, it saves a million or two (possibly more). I was at least glad to hear someone discuss cost vs. benifit for a change.

So I visit the "U.S." census bureau website and the first thing I see is a link discussing Cinco de Mayo...??? Is this an American Holiday now?
