Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

That would open a whole new can of worms with sneaking in salt. Black market salt, it would be like Prohibition, and who's going to enforce the law? Can you imagine going to jail for salt, I can just see the conversations. "What ya in for?" "Salt". What a freaking mess.

Certain foods simply cannot be prepared without the inclusion of salt, and the propose legislation makes no stipulation about having salt shakers on the table, so this is just another stupid attempt by goobermint to nanny us.

This will not become law, but that goes to show how just how wacky the Liberal mind has become, and how power hungry they are. If people don't send them packing on Nov 2010 those states that keep electing Democraps deserve what they get!

It's not tough to understand why they want to ban it, restaurant foods typically contain more salt than most folks should eat in an entire week. Ever watch the cooking shows on the Food Network? The chefs on them toss handfuls of salt in nearly everything they make. If you don't like the sodium content in a restaurant's food you have the option to eat somewhere else.
