Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default The D.C. Snowball Fight

I just read a press release from the D.C. Police POA which said the department has just released the official report of investigation and determined the officer who pulled his service weapon "acted reasonably" and closed the case. Remember the folks who second guessed the officer's actions BEFORE the investigation? Once again, the press (and the D.C. Chief) skews the story to discredit the officer before they know what really happened.

Not really a big surprise they would back him though was there. I still think he should have at least been reprimanded. He was out of control and eventually he is going to shoot someone because he can't control his temper.

Heard more than once how some who live outside the DC area have recommended blowing up the bridges to keep them in until they all kill themselves.

If the guy did right it will turn out right, if he did wrong even if he's acquitted things will further deteriorate. Respect is a powerful tool and in very short supply.

WTF are you talking about? I was born there and lived in the area. We are peaceful folks. The only thing remotely close to what you said and perhaps where the confusion comes in is our nuclear evacuation plan.

Those in PG county MD are to take Rt 50 east or 301 south. Those in Montgoery county are to take 29 north or 270 north. Those in northern VA are to take Rt 15 or 66 west. Those in the southern part of NVA are to take 95 south or Rt 1. If you're from DC, take 495 the beltway until it ends.

Why does this not surprise me?
