I'm from what used to be America.
I don't support the person being called the CIC because he's a blithering idiot who will send this once great nation straight down the crapper unless he is neutered by the midterm elections.

BTW, was this supposed to be a poll?

Let me begin by saying I don't think your poll was well worded. I'm not sure it asks the question you think it is asking.

I answered YES. I support the commander in chief. I respect the office of the President of the United States and acknowledge Barrack Obama's legitimate authority as the President of the United States. To the extent that legitimate authority binds my actions by the rule of law -- you find the example cases -- I act in compliance with that authority. In my parsing of language, all of that means that, indeed, I "support the Commander in Chief."

But I don't think that was the question you wanted to ask. I do NOT support the political initiatives or the public policies advocated by Obama. I will vote for representatives and senators accordingly in November. I don't like his cynical lying. One such lie is "I am not a socialist." Given the policies promoted and authorizations made by Obama -- General Motors, Chrysler as two examples, -- I think charaterizing hiim as a socialist is quite fair.

Yes I support the president, but I do not support his policies. I voted against Obama at the last election, and I will vote against him again at the next one. But we are a nation of laws and he is our lawful president.
