Now, if the Catholic Church gets involed with a political bill, does that not remove them from their tax exemption? Or at least this Bishops Diocese? I know our Church cannot preach any politics, nor get involved in any political issues or lose our tax exemption.

Unintended consequences and God have one thing in common: Liberals don’t believe in either of them.
It doesn't surprise me but it will cost them a lot of money.

If a Catholic church gets politically or financially involved with a bill would that make the bill null and void?

It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."
On the other hand, Many Catholics supported bho, how the hell can they justify that? He is the most anti life president in history.
That's because a large majority of Catholics are politically challenged. A lot of them are immigrants and they've been told the democraps are for the little people, so they don't investigate the facts.
DLG, I know you're Catholic and are not a Liberal, notice I said a large majority!

From an ABC News Survey:
Income, Education
More broadly, Protestants tend to have lower incomes than Catholics: Forty-nine percent of evangelical Protestants have incomes under $50,000, as do 43 percent of non-evangelical Protestants, compared to 36 percent of Catholics.
Income correlates with education. Thirty-six percent of Catholics are college graduates; that declines to 23 percent of Protestants, and 17 percent of Baptists.
Here is the direct link for Catholic Biships. There isn't any real definitve stuff from what I can see one way or the other. The politico article may just have the bias of the writer. However, they will loose my money if they choose to go done this path. My wife is freaking right now.

I'd like to see where you got that info.. Not disputing it, but be good to see where those stats came from.

The Church, in good faith, attempts to apply what seem to be the teachings of Jesus. If you analyze those teachings, Jesus will come across as pretty much a socialist. The problem is that, while those teachings sound like a great thing, they don't work in practice. Sometimes turning the other cheek works, other times it will get you a severe beating. The meek may be blessed, but they're also likely to become slaves to the non-meek. If you don't mind being a slave, by all means, be meek.
There is little incentive to produce if you are going to be expected to share whatever you produce with a whole raft of people who spend their days lying on the couch watching TV and getting fat, some of them producing illegitimate children one after the other. Okay, I was illegitimate, but my mom kept her weight at 73 pounds, (we're the same size), and worked her little tail off six nights a week to provide for us. It can be done. We want to pay for our health insurance and we want to get whatever we can afford. We don't trust the government to take care of us.
