Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Bunning - The leader of the Party of No

Wonder if they cut the farm subsidies off.
Wonder if they stopped giving Gigantic Tax Breaks to Oil Companies
The list goes on and on.

They will do anything to destroy this country and further separate the classes

Vote NO NO NO NO on every bill no matter who or what it hurts.

It would be better to enter the voting booth and write in "None of the above" for the next cycle or two, and would achieve just as much.

Instead of showing how dumb this whole topic is, why not educate yourself on what is really going on.

Im glad my party is the party that says "NO!" to this crap.............

Maybe if we had a real president that understands jobs are created through tax cuts, and not by a nanny state giving away money, it doesnt have, those people wouldnt need unemployment benefits anymore.

DeerandBear.

Take some time and read the transcript as i did from Warren Buffet's recent speach. They asked him this very question. He didn't agree with tax cuts etc creating jobs. As I have said a 100 times here, it is stupidity to think that some company is going to hire someone because they are getting an income tax break. Makes no sense and Warren agreed and he is a heck of a lot smarter than me or certainly anyone here.

Jobs are created by increased demand for your products. Companies hire to fill demand. Supply side economics has proven over and over again to be a joke created by the Rep's to justify tax cuts to large wealthy companys. Demand creates jobs. Buy a computer, build a road, house, building or create demand for PC's(Y2K) and the economy will demand more and jobs get created.

As Warren said, he felt the stimulus was a little small and should have been more to kick start the economy and start the economy going.

That's your problem, you only worry about what's happening now. If you don't learn from history your doomed to repeat it. Every time taxes has been cut and spending cut to go along with this nation has flourished. It is a fact, why don't you try educating yourself instead of being a liberal puppet.

I have a really hard time Warren Buffet would say that. First of all, I am pretty sure he would encourage tax cuts, just like any millionare/billionare/trillionare would. Obviously increased demand grows interest, and a simple rule of economics, law of demand, says something to the effect that increased demand will happen because of certain things, and I am sure one of those factors would be an increase in disposable income. I dont have my notes from my economics class on me, so i cant give you the rest of the solutions to all lifes problems.

He not only mentioned that he was in favor of starting from scratch on the healthcare bill, but question the reasoning of not using the repaid TARP monies for job creations. He also made the comment that this repaid fund was probably being squirreled away to bolster the Dems at election time. As of today it is being reported in the media there is concern coming out of Washington that stimus money Slotted for job creation here, was spent on wind turbine technology in China.

Will
Answer me this; Why is what Bunning is doing, wrong? He is holding the Dem's to their own rules. The very rules they voted in just weeks ago. The notion of Pay Go. Or does that only apply when someone other than the Dem's pass bills?

So, what is it? The Dem's breaking their own rules and being forced to obey the rules by one Republican. Or is it that the one Republican is in the wrong for wanting to follow the rules???
