I don't read the paper until after work, but, I'm going to bet that our local liberal rag, the Houston Chronicle, will give more coverage to Cinco de Mayo in a couple of months than it does to Texas Independence Day...

I wasn't born in Texas, but after 18 years of living here I sure don't see much reason to leave. Especially the way much of the rest of the country is headed. The rest of the country would do well to look at Texas.
