Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Stealing more tax dollars....

Yes, we will be stealing more tax dollars for an investment opportunity up here again.. But, wait some of these so called tax dollars actually comes from my pocket to as well as every one that pays taxes in this state..So are we really stealing them or are they just being put back into the county/state use.. Anyways things are starting to look up here and the Port of Eastport will hopefully be a big player in all of this.. A little info on what exactly is going on can be read here... www.bangordailynews.com/detail/137860.html
All I can say is it is about time some dollars came this way instead of down in Southern Me.. I can not respond to this topic today as I will be in Augusta fighting for the LNG terminals that we are trying to get into this area. These terminals cost the state or tax payers no dollars at all.. These are completely funded by out side enterprizes..
It doesn't look like I will be quitting my current job any time soon.
Just no packing up and leaving just yet..

Well I went to Augusta on Tuesday and did my testimony for all those to hear.. It was quite interesting being there and being part of it.. I went and stood before the Joint Standing Committee on Energy and Utilities. I heard others give thier testimony on either for or against in the begining.

Then it was my turn to stand before them. I gave them my testimony and went out in the hall. All the nay sayers that were going to come up after me went neutral all of a sudden. Then out in the hall while waiting for a friend to get done. One of the nay sayers that was ahead of me came up to greet me. He was a lobbyist for the opposition and wanted to shake my hand. He stated that he makes it his interest when hearing such a great testimony that I had given to reconize that. So I have no doubt that my testimony was good. I also feel we hit a grandslam with this one. I wouldn't know for sure but they will be going over it this afternoon. I am hopeing that they will pass this thing threw once and for all. This will help take one hurdle away for this project..

I have found that seeing how everything works was interesting. Anyways I am hopeing to hear something good about this with in the next day or two..
