Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Is this the beggining of the revolution? Are we starting to retaliate in desperate acts that seems the only way we get attention to this governments intentions and operations? I can only Hope November sees us moving in another direction, me I'm not real sure people will make the effort, I think they will be so remote to what is happening, scarred that they feel it will make little difference if they vote or not! Immune might be the word i am looking for....If you are immune you tend not to do anything about the disease or plague.

I have been reading about this. I think this is more of a nut going crazy. But the story is young, it will be interesting to see what comes out of all this.

The guy was a nut.

Owed the IRS $1,500 dollars and got caught up in something that helped his already feeble mind to go crazy. The weak minded are easily swayed into doing things they shouldn't.

Glad he didn't take a gun into the IRS office and shoot the poor receptionist trying to make a living greeting and answering the phone. All in the name of freedom.

Hence the re-election of Bush and Cheney.

Your right they did have the wrong campaign slogan.. it should have been "Can you live on pocket change?"

Bush and Chaney had more brains in their socks than this whole liberal administration has all together!

I do not see where the weird, the suicidal, and the deranged have the ability to start a coordinated "revolution." This guy was a certifiable nutcase.

Quote:
AUSTIN, Texas (AP) _ A software engineer who crashed his plane into an office building with nearly 200 Internal Revenue Service employees inside left behind a rambling anti-government manifesto but otherwise offered little indication that he was planning such an attack.

A. Joseph Stack III posted his angry screed on a Web site registered to him before he flew a single engine plane into the hulking black-glass Echelon 1 building on Thursday, killing himself and at least one worker. Stack, 53, apparently targeted the building's lower floors, which housed the IRS offices.

.....................

In his self-described "rant," Stack railed against "big brother," the Catholic Church, the "unthinkable atrocities" committed by big business and the governments bailouts that followed.

....................................

According to California state records, Stack had a troubled business history, twice starting software companies in California that ultimately were suspended by the state's tax board, one in 2000, the other in 2004. Also, his first wife filed for bankruptcy in 1999, listing a debt to the IRS of nearly $126,000.

Stack's father-in-law, Jack Cook, told The New York Times that he knew Stack had a "hang-up" with the IRS and his marriage had been strained. His wife had taken her daughter to a hotel to get away from Stack on Wednesday night, the newspaper said.
