Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Oh please. That can't be right! Everyone knows that it is Bush and Cheney who hate our Constitution. Obama was a Con Law Professor. Surely HE respects our rights. Right?

[/sarcasm]

Bush bashers/Obama lovers? How 'bout it?

Surely there must be some mistake here: Who would believe that the party that claims to have a lock on protecting ones privacy would pull this crap?

Can't argue with ya there. Maybe he did but those whom he hired didn't, but then again, goes with the job.

I've never seen it but I'm guessing that the book or books that contain all there is on constitutional law is over whelming. That is our law not the simple constitution we like to hold in our hands. Even what's not in there could not be there simply because those who interpret it refuse to discuss it.

I read once that the constitution was drafted in such a way so that an interpretation wasn't needed. Can't tell you the number of times those words make me feel like I'm looking at a very beautiful ugly woman.

When i think of it and think of the education the founders had (as far as I know) I can't help but wonder how, based on world history which they ate with a spoon they could be so naive as to think man would not unceasingly add interpretations to the document.

Freedom demands mistakes be allowed not intrusions of privacy. Get a warrant! You all do know were and why that is the law?

Freedom or the lose of it in this country at this time must be voted away. Haven't you guys ever wondered how the terrible ever got the people to go along with their insanity? One step at a time, one step at a time until the next thing you know your either an enemy of the state or trying to keep from being seen as one. None of us really want to wake up one day and find ourselves in that nightmare.

Make authority completely wore out before one ounce of power is given up for yours and their own good. An enemy is beatable, an enemy with the law on their side is all but unbeatable.

Sorry, I'm not following where the problem is in the case. All they did was look at huge log of records for a pattern. Why do you feel the right to privacy when you go out in public? How is this any different then private business willingly turning over their closed caption tape when a crime happened in the area? Shouldn't the police first go get a warrant in those circumstances?

It's all for the security of the Motherland, or is it the Fatherland?
