Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default For those who think we make nothing in America,

I dare you to watch a seasons worth of "How's It Made". I love that show and one common thing most things that are made on that show are the robotics involved. Just remeber while you're watching it, people use to do it by hand 50 years ago.

I love that show, it's answered many questions that I've had about how products are manufactured. Some of the processes are just plain amazing.

That is an excellent show, and a good point on robotics. We have lost a lot of jobs due to robotics however that is progress. The problem with a lot of those people that lost the jobs we unskilled workers that couldn't see what was coming so they never diversified! I hate to say it, but most lived paycheck to paycheck and six pack to six pack.

Are there people on these boards who think that? I've never heard that expressed here.

Good show...but I'm pretty sure its a Canadian show and lots of the factories aren't even in America...

Really, where have you been. Just in this past week or so was another link claiming we were sending all our manufacturing overseas and everything you now see in Walmart was made in China. It comes up here quite regularly and I always have to dig up my facts/links to show our manufacting is increasing not decreasing in America. I have to prove time and time again it's a myth and/or a campaign slogan.

I would cry if I knew how much stuff at our Walmart comes from the USA. Even a majority of the food is not grown or processed here. Not just China. But you really have to look for anything in most of the departments that is USA made. I don't need any government study, I was there today looking through the tools.
