Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Oh What a Feeling!!!

Im sure Ill get flamed for this but what the hey i got broad shoulders and thick skin. What does everyone think about Toyota's deal? They were leading the world in recalls before this and now they will probably have an insurmountable lead..lol. I sincerely do hope they get it straightened out and fast because there are a lot of folks in this country depending on them now. Hard to be a homer when every company is global now. With the big 1 and government 2 shifting more and more production to China, Canada and Mexico the ***anese companies may end up employing more folks here than they do.

Thank the unions and corporate tax rates for that...

I'm sure this must be a BS story because I'm told we don't make anything here in America. I heard this morning the pedal assembly was designed and built by an American company. I guess this another example for VC that the private sector in America is out to kill us.

Steve Jobs thinks it a software issue because he's having the same issue on his prius. Perhaps it's a Windows issue.

LoL The sad part is we will never know exactly what it is. I have never liked drive by wire. Throttle cables worked well for over a century.

I have never liked to drive a toyota. Frankly they are a piece of ****. Germans make the bext luxury vehicles, Ford makes the best trucks and SUV's. Sports cars are up in the air but if money wasn't an issue, Ferrari's all the way. One day I will have one in my garage, God willing.

It sounds like they are going to have a lowered economic return for the year. They don't make bad vehicles but I'm partial to and prefer American made trucks. So far, I always have a GMC or Chevy but admit my buddy's 1-ton diesel is a great truck too.

I figured the Toyota quality sermons would have crashed the server by now. Amen on the Ferrari!! Not a Yota fan here either..They have always been extremely overrated and overpriced. 200k+ has never been a prob for any of my vehicles.... even the trucks with daily heavy duty surface mine usage...which BTW were mostly Fords but the old Silverado is still going as well.

The wife just bought a new Camry and it's a great car (not as good as my F250). When they mentioned gas pedals after floor mats I figured they haven't identified the problem yet. They're starting to look at the "software" now. I think they've had a dozen instances with, what, millions of units sold? I'm so scared we drive the Toyota daily testing for the problem.
