So, how much do you need for retirement?
I wanted to throw this out there since the White House wants us to invest in the government bonds at a rate of 25%. I've already pointed out that it would wipe out most if not all company matching funds. I wouldn't expect to ever see the money. So I think it would force me to move over to an Roth. Well, then next has got me questioning just how much money you should limit your 401K to? Looking at how they have the law set, you must divide what you have in your account at age 70 by 28 +/- (life expectency) and withdraw that amount. That's taxable income. However, if it's a Roth, it's not. So you could very easialy find yourself in the next tax bracket and these idiots in DC, taking your retirement savings. What goal should you shoot for in your 401K and then switch to a Roth?
