I am thinking it wasnt such a bad idea...a third eye is just what some of them need, you know, help see the light...lol

WASHINGTON (AFP) - Muslim groups reacted angrily Wednesday after it emerged that the US military in Iraq and Afghanistan were using rifle sights inscribed with coded Biblical references.
The codes were used as "part of our faith and our belief in service to our country," Trijicon said.
"As long as we have men and women in danger, we will continue to do everything we can to provide them with both state-of-the-art technology and the never-ending support and prayers of a grateful nation," a company spokesman said on condition of anonymity.
The move appeared to be a direct violation of a US Central Command general order issued after the 2003 US-led invasion of Iraq that strictly prohibits "proselytizing of any religion, faith or practice."
.....gee wizz, wouldnt want to upset the enemy at all....lol
This is just the first outcry, the rest of the libtard PC crowd will soon follow. Personally, I really don't care what Trijicon inscribes on their fine products, it's their choice after all, but they really should've informed the military purchasing authorities of the inscriptions before taking the contract. They may very well have unintentionally violated proceedural rules, and the Pentagon will have to call them on it if this is the case. I figure worst case they'll have to ship future units without them, but the stink this has caused will linger.

Maybe the military will have to buy all new trijicon scopes to replace the ones they have. If so, I'd be more than happy to take their current scopes off their hands. I believe I could come up with a suitable program for disposing of them in a manner such that they would never see service on a military weapon again...
heyll, I want one !....lol....I am curious as to what the coded inscriptions were...if it is just numbers...what's the big deal ? The whistle blower is a real douche.

It's in the article:
Quote:
According to photographs seen by AFP, the coded inscriptions include JN8:12, an apparent reference to John 8:12: "Then spake Jesus again unto them, saying, I am the light of the world: he that followeth me shall not walk in darkness, but shall have the light of life."
I thought it was reported today that this had been going on for many years. It's not anything new.
The funniest thing I heard was from the CARE idiot. He claimed that this would be a recruiting tool for Al Qeada. I can see it now at the next civilian trial for the next terrorist, "I was going to lay down my arms but not anymore. When I found out serial numbers on my enemy's weapons contained satanic messages." Not Guilty
