When the AP waxes poetic about a Republican victory, you know you've achieved something.

I remain skeptical that the GOP can stage a massive comeback over the next two election cycles if they don't unite behind common candidates and causes, but one thing is for certain: If I'm a Democrat, I'm scared $h!tless right now. There couldn't be a clearer message sent against Obama's policies than what Scott Brown's election sent tonight.
If I'm a Democrat, I'm thinking this: If you can't win a Senate race in Massachusetts, a seat held by the Kennedys for a half-century, where CAN you win?? If I were them, I would lick my wounds, count my losses, and let health care reform go quietly into the night. It's becoming increasingly clear that Americans won't do it. Instead, they're busy crafting ways they can scoot around a filibuster in the Senate. Foolish, foolish, foolish. Oh well. Their loss is a loss for liberalism, and that's never a bad thing.
