I dunno man. The first thing to do is to make sure our citizenry is armed to the teeth. I've been reaching out to law enforcement officers that I know to make sure they understand their #1 duty is to uphold the Constitution, no matter what. We should also become familiar with our local laws. What orders from an LEO do we lawfully have to obey? Is there really a law that says we have to show ID on demand? Etc.
Also, the hard part is that MOST police departments are a BUREAUCRACY. That means the chief, the sheriff, whomever, ISN'T an elected official. Thus, when they're appointed and not elected, there is much less accountability. We need ensure the police work directly for us and not the politicians. It also would be a good idea to show videos like this to your state senator or delegate and let them know you are concerned. Not that I think that will do much good, but...
In the end, refer to my first suggestion. I really feel like there will be a breaking point, and soon. If that happens, every single person is going to have to make a choice, because the result is going to go one of two ways. If "they" win, the results will be devastating.

OF course not a surprise at all since too many of them think once that badge is pinned on their chest , they think they are above the law. Unfortunately even with video evidence they get away with it. Then people wonder why someone goes nuts and starts blowing these pieces of crap away. There that should get the defenders of the corrupt cops going.
And of course there ARE good cops, but I think they are VERY few and far between. That's obvious when you've got entire departments covering up the crimes of dirty cops. That to say, I'm sick of the argument, especially from other LEOs, saying that of course there are a few dirty LEOs out there, but most of LEOs are here to protect us. Even a guy I knew that I would have thought to be a good cop, told me of their "code". He said he would NEVER ticket another officer. Pathetic.
Those two cops who shot the kid in the car accident probably seem like decent guys to all that know them. But the mentality that they are PROGRAMMED with caused them to see themselves as individuals who only need to be OBEYED and preserved. WHY ON EARTH would you order a person who was in a car accident, who you assessed as being catatonic, who had lacerations and blood all over him, 3rd degree burns, etc to lay on his stomach?? They were so concerned with getting his blood on them that they didn't try to help the kid but instead treated him like an animal and shot him like one when he didn't "comply". Those officers should be shot like the pigs they are.

Unfortunately I believe this is exactly what it is going to come down to, I fear sooner rather than later.

It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

It can be much worse than the isolated incidents portrayed in the video. It can be wholesale.
In the 60's and early 70's, when this country was divided along political lines about the war in Viet Nam, you could be dragged from you car and beaten for simply having long hair.
At numerous events, where people were PEACEFULLY protesting the war in Viet Nam, protesters were beaten and arrested for simply being there. Film much like that which is portrayed on the posted video documents that and much worse.
In my mind, political arrests, beatings, and killings, are far worse than anything portrayed in the video. Those arrests, beatings, and murders of American citizens are the ultimate betrayal of our American constitution.
The beating, arrests, and murders of the people behind the American Civil Rights movement in the 60's and early 70's are extremely well-documented.
Kent State University, 1970, was a scene of the attempted mass murder of innocent American citizens by a wing of American government. Tienanmen Square's got nothing on us, my friends, nothing.
Today, we see the lesson learned from those beatings, arrests, and murders. We hold the right to lawfully protest as something almost sacred. We even grant thugs such as the various splinter groups of the KKK the right to assemble and 'protest' so to speak. America did learn something from the carnage it levied upon innocent citizens in those days.
The lesson here: It can happen again. Even on this board we've seen serious division over political issues such as Iraq, abortion, and on and on. We've had members go so far as to openly condone the murder of abortion doctors on these very pages.
It takes no stretch of the imagination to visualize what those same members might do in an environment of chaos and lawlessness...or even worse, what they might do if they were granted the power assigned to those toting a badge and firepower in various forms.
Thank God for video. It is one of the few things that causes them to take pause and check their animalistic tendencies.
Even a guy I knew that I would have thought to be a good cop, told me of their "code". He said he would NEVER ticket another officer. Pathetic.
Not always. Take this however you want. A Christian friend/cop was standing in the local town trying to have a conversation with anyone who wanted to talk about God. The business he was standing outside of tried to get him to leave. He and his friend were breaking no laws, the police were called and when the on duty officer came up to the off duty officer no slack was cut in fact according to the off duty officer the report filed was wrong. It accused them of a misdemeanor but stated they were just warned to leave. No laws were broken, no patrons were hindered from entering the establishment. He was later called in and an attempt to get him to stop was made.
The answer can be found in the place the survivors will return to, God. Why do you think this country started off so spiritual? It's not like it was the beginning of time. It was a return to God that was our start. Was there abuse? Most defiantly but you can't blame Truth if lie twists it. We also started off with a strong desire to educate our people, we've twisted that to by changing what is taught.
The video is no news to me and I doubt to anyone else on here either. By far the biggest organized crime syndicate in this nation is one that issues badges. From Federal all the way to local level. It was stuff like this in the video, hearing stories, and seeing some pretty shady stuff during my internship in college that made me change my major and my mind about becoming a L.E.O.
