Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Jobs Report Is Call to Action

Does anyone really want to take the led? If business and the gop want to boom work together and get the country working. Both will have to sacrifice inorder for that to happen. Both will have to bend over backwards to rebuild the lost trust. Both will have to strickly police themselves. There's still a little time left.

Both will once again be loved and respected.

HOWEVER, both would need to find the wizard of oz for a heart, brain and courage and then come all the way back home from planet "the world revolves around me".

And how's the GOP supposed to do anything, their hands are tie with all the communist in control. Business can't make things grown with the the restrictions and taxes the communist have put on them!

The single most important thing for the government to do for the economy to boom, is simply get out of the way and let the American capitalist machine start humming again. The primary role of the government is to protect the American way of life, and it's economic system from it's enemies abroad who would like to harm us. Instead, that threat is overshadowed by the belief that the government's job is to provide jobs. The only way the government can provide a job is to take from private American's and private industry, because the government does not produce anything on it's own.

We should already be in the middle of a real upturn from the downturn last year, but the more the government interferes, the longer this will last.

Nodog,
IMO, I think a big problem we are facing as a country is that too many people do trust the government. They trust them with more and more power to control every aspect of their being, and the scary truth is that this administration, and congress in particular are so eager to oblige they are drunk with glee.

Too funny. While the government is in our way and threatening many new rounds of major tax hikes on private business, your blaming the GOP and private enterprise for where we find ourselves today?

Tell me, this post is a joke. You see, I know my molds will cost me 150K. Machines and tables will cost another 25K. I have a place to begin manufacturing. What I don't have is what will my taxes look like. When will there be any growth? Right now, I see government in major growth mode. I've been reading about the 2nd coming of a housing crash, double dip recession is looming and we're still loosing jobs. So once again, is this a joke?

And this is why no one is hiring. If businesses cannot reasonably predict what their expenses are going to be IE: taxes, they certainly are not going to take on the major expense of hiring.

Council of Economic Advisers chief Christina Romer was recently quoted as having said that getting more people working was the key to reducing the deficit, I always thought it was reducing goobermint spending. With advisors like this it isn't tough to guess why Barry has no clue what's going on in the real world.

If the GOP wanted to do something it could, but in order to get things going others would get credit. That won't happen, what they will do is beat a dead Harry Reid horse. WORTHLESS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! !!!!!!!!!!!WASTE OF POWER!

The problem with the GOP is it refuses to use the power the people give it. Had a lawyer friend who graduated top of his class tell me with 150 bucks he could make anyones life miserable, WHY DOESN'T THE GOP USE THAT POWER, (THEY'RE ALL LAYWERS ANYWAYS) to force business to be a part of the solution like T. Roosevelt did? Plenty they could do. When they get business on board then force people through reductions in public services to work for their food. Nobody wants to do nothin except wait for someone to fall and scavange.

What can they do? Plenty they just lack the cahonies to use the big stick sitting in the corner.

They have the power to force business and the people to work together, but that's not politically correct. That was the Reagan message that so many said YES too, business and the people. Then only get in the way if the 2 sides decide not to play fair, in other words FAIR REPRESENTATION!

I'm not saying blackmail business into something, I'm saying they need to work toghether inorder to make it happen. If one business is getting hammer by another, lets say the insurance industry, the gop needs to take a tough, firm stance to get them in line dealing with what effects them so they all are working together for the good of the country. They could do it and should have done it already years ago. If they would've little to none of what is going on today would be.
