The last time the goobermint pushed the people of this country once too much it got kicked out of the country at gunpoint, twice. If they keep up their power grabbing it's not tough to see it happening again.

Where's the line? I wouldn't say the crown of England was much more tyrannical than our government is becoming.

Also, what do you do with the Patriot Act in effect? You've already got the government calling (true) patriots "terrorists". There's several reasons for the "war on terror". This is one of them.

What is telling, is Senator Byrd even accused Obama of trying to grab too much power. If that is not telling, I dont know what is. But then agian, he must be reverting back to his KKK days.

You nailed it Kent, they are one of the same.. We used to have one in the religious forum that would get the boot and weeks later he'd be back under another name. Like a thief can change his name but he can't change his finger prints.

He is no where near FDR. Give a look at his attempt to pack the Supreme Court. That was something and something to keep in mind.

The government can grab no power unless it is given them. There are two groups that rule the majority, the wealthy and the government. When the wealthy refuse to led instead of feed the government is given power.
