Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Term limits

I saw this elsewhere and just had to share it.......

Limit all US politicians to two terms.

One in office

One in prison

I believe term limits would eliminate some of the power and corruption rampant in today’s politics. The POTUS position is limited to 2 terms and IMO congress should have similar limits. I believe there would be less partisanship if the players were not allowed to be an incumbent for decades. Fresh blood brings new ideas and prevents the good old boy network from developing.

I have to agree. Two terms is more than enough.
Force the politicians back into private industry and show them how they have hosed over the country for decades.

Yep, two terms are enough for any of them. Despite the fact that the approval rating of congress is lower than whale poop, they keep on getting re-elected. The prevailing attitude of voters is that all the congress critters except "mine" are crooks. "My" congress critter is a wonderful guy and i'll just keep on re-electing him/her.

Yeah, if the second term is spent in a jail cell!
We have to put an end to career politicians. Too much cronyism, pork chasing, pocket padding, and BS.

Fact of the matter is being an incumbent gets someone re-elected unless they really screw up and get caught doing what they all do. Name recognition gets the check mark in the ballot box from all of the morons out there without a brain. Just look at the most recent potus election. All the morons got their man elected for one reason and it wasn't that he was the best candidate.
2 terms is more than enough to get a job done and make a contribution. Anything more than that just adds power to the mix and that is what makes career politicians.
