Garth Brooks

has accused an Oklahoma hospital of reneging on a promise to name a building addition after his late mother in exchange for a $500,000 contribution.

According to a lawsuit filed in Rogers County District Court, the singer seeks a return of his December 2005 donation to Integris Canadian Valley Regional Hospital in Yukon after nearly two years of meetings with hospital officials.

He can give me 500K and I will build a house on some land and his deceased mother can have her name on the mail box! Don't think he was asking for much but he does have plenty of money...donate for the right reasons!

Good for him. If they failed to live up to such a simple request that they must have agreed to, then give it back. They may have agreed to to little but again it's only a hospital building. My Engineering School got renamed but they got 20 million for the renaming.

Is it really for the wrong reasons? I kind of think it's motivational on the part of the giver and for those who see the name dedication. Heck, when my major school changed the name of their engineering school to this alumni's name, it made me think what it would take to get the name changed to mine. I had classmates demand the school name on their diploma and the school gave in since we were the first graduating class. I liked the name change idea and the reason behind it, so I kept my diploma as is. I'm proud to say I'm part of the first graduation class from the new school.

Not to take up for barf brooks don't really like him but A deals a deal,and if I didn't receive what I was promised I also would be ticked off,It doesn't matter how much money you have if they made a deal they should hold to it!
