Been there many times. Actually not too many where the phone is the problem. However, to his defense, the stewardess can really be a bitch at times.

I fly a lot, and we all know the rules, and yes some of them can be a little harsh. I've found that old ones are the worst, especially the old dudes with dyed hair.
I'm good about the phone, I just keep forgetting to bring my seat to an upright position. Even when I think I'm all the way, I still get the yard stick across the knuckles.
Yeah, I usually don't have issues with the phone. However, I almost found myself kicked off a flight for basically nothing. Everyone around me shut up real quick and sat straight up in their seat. The guy next to me suggest I complain and he would to. If two Chairman conplain, there is an investigation.
What happen was, I was first on board in 1D. I had an Email I needed to get out and was working on getting it done. Mean while I sat my lunch down at my feet while typing away. She said my bag couldn't go there. I said no problem, it's my lunch and it will get figured out later. Continued to type. That's when she snapped and said, your right, it will get figured out. I continued to ignore her and finish my email. 15 minutes before the flight was to take off, I was just finishing up and they said I had to get off because they wanted to leave early. No problem, I was done and closing my PC and putting it away. Out of the blue she said, I think your going to be a problem on my flight and I'll kick you off. WTF? She was the issue, I didn't do anything. It sure shocked everyone else in First.
Sorry to drag this out but in the end here is the best line to ever say to the stewardess if she's a bitch. For this gal she was older but it also works on the younger ones as well. I told her, I thought she was too old for her monthly cycle but I do have some Midol in my bag and could get her some because you obviously need it.

I got ticked off at one of the security personnel at Atlanta's Hartford/Jackson.. He was screaming at the people to hurry, and was basically pushing people all over. ( a lot of people are not familiar with procedures at air ports) I told him not to let that $8.00 an hour go to his head.
We just had a stand off, I walked away and he didn't say anything else. Some of those people are a real pain too... Except in Lexington Ky, they are super nice.
I can understand that the larger airports are more hectic especially where there is only one security area. But they still need to remember they are the customer!
Senators are supposed to be role models, even "Smilin' Chuckie." If I recall correctly, Schumer went to Congress virtually right out of law school, then on to the Senate. He's never had a real job. It shows.
