Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Talking Boy, is Algore's face red...

Inconvenient Truth for Gore as Arctic Ice Claims Don't Add Up

London Times

The former vice president said new research showed that the Arctic could be completely ice-free in five years, but the scientist his estimate was based on denies the timeline.

There are many kinds of truth. Al Gore was hit by an inconvenient one yesterday.
The former vice president, who became an unlikely figurehead for the green movement after narrating the Oscar-winning documentary "An Inconvenient Truth," became entangled in a new climate change row.
Gore, speaking at the Copenhagen climate change summit, stated the latest research showed that the Arctic could be completely ice-free in five years.
In his speech, Gore told the conference: "These figures are fresh. Some of the models suggest to Dr. [Wieslav] Maslowski that there is a 75 percent chance that the entire north polar ice cap, during the summer months, could be completely ice-free within five to seven years."
However, the climatologist whose work Gore was relying upon dropped the former vice president in the water with an icy blast.
"It's unclear to me how this figure was arrived at," Dr. Maslowski said. "I would never try to estimate likelihood at anything as exact as this."
Gore's office later admitted that the 75 percent figure was one used by Dr. Maslowski as a "ballpark figure" several years ago in a conversation with Gore.
The embarrassing error cast another shadow over the conference after the controversy over the hacked e-mails from the University of East Anglia's Climate Research Unit, which appeared to suggest that scientists had manipulated data to strengthen their argument that human activities were causing global warming.

That's the only reason he banged the drum, wonder how many of the green companies padded his pockets?

Al Gore has made a $100,000,000 on "Green" since he left office.

Follow the money to doom here.

I heard we have to stop eating meat to save the earth. The carbon footprint with the cattle and food production is killing us. What a total bunch of BS.

Willie you're going against the grain, you're talking about your beloved Libby Albert Bore!!! You're going to get a letter of chastisement from Osamma and you just might get kicked out of your party!!
You'd better be nice.

Do you think that Al Gore is going to let this bother him? Of course not. He will continue to preach his incompetence to the sheeple and they will blindly follow him to their (and our) doom.

It's nothing more than a huge money maker for those involved and they will stop at nothing to make their billions.

It is less likely to survive a multitude of fools such as those who made him their president."

True, but the cat is now out of the bag, and the scheme is beginning to unravel in earnest. I read on Fox News site this morning that the Copenhagen circus is now in near freefall as smaller poorer countries are now demanding that the wealthier ones not only commit to even deeper cuts, but also finance their minimal efforts to reduce their carbon output. The response from the US and China alone to this has been tepid at best. The whole shell game is falling apart faster and faster as the truth is dragged into the light of day.

I have absolute, uncontrovertible proof that global warming is not happening. I agree with WillPA on this issue, which clearly indicates that Hell has frozen over... I expect an Ice Age, of immense proportion, soon.

Very true, I just looked out the window to check! Will, how can you chastise global warming and in the same breath praise Obama for his spending? Hey guys, perhaps this forum is actually having an impact on Will. Keep up the good work of spreading the seed of truth and it just might grow!
