Obama's speech Tue??? What the frank?
More blame game.
I missed the speech but read the transcript. What I found odd was how Obama blamed Bush for passing the TARP bill as part of the economic problems. As I recall, Geithner wrote the bill, and Obama voted for it as a Senator. I guess Obama really has nothing but the Blame game, as well as a very short memory. And in light of this blunder, add to the fact he has done nothing other than allocate his jobs to the congress, I am seriously questioning his intelligence.
It is the spending of the last 6 or so years that has me the most concerned about the future survival of our nation.
If you wish to condemn the spending, I'll join you, but I won't stop with Obama.
We must have government but we must have responsible government and that starts with both a government which is fiscally responsible and a people who provide scrutiny and vigilant oversight of that government.
As it stands this day, we have neither. The results are logical.

+1
In order to be vigilant and provide scrutiny of the governmant it is necessary to know something about government. People are polarized by 30 second sound bites spewed out by partisan shills. Studies have shown that about 40 percent of Americans do not have enough sense to wash their hands after taking a crap: How in hades can they be expected to learn anything about government.
Kind of funny that the guy who ran on the politics of change has brought us a budget deficit over three times larger than the last budget of the last president.
Entitlements are just grand until you get the bill.
Hey burnie. I just love when he talks about stimuli III with admitting the first two have failed.

Wait a min. Fieldmouse. Stimulus is a taboo word. They will never call it another stimulus. They are dodgeing that word like the flu.

I have to agree. I am sick and tired of all the blame game. I am ready for action. Im sick of appeasement and party politics. I had an outside hope Obama was going to stick to his promise of bipartisan ship. Not a forced, "our way or the highway, we won get over it", partisan ship. I saw that was not the case very early in his presidency, which set me off after him almost at the get go.

Nothing will get done until we begin to default on all of our promises. Unfortunately with the bogus Healthcare bill they will kick the can down the road for a few more years.

Until we the sheeple demand fiscal and ethical responsibility from our alleged leaders, and write it into our Constitution via national referendum, they'll do as they damned well please. You get the goobermint that you deserve, and so we have.
