Yep, Baucus recommended his girl friend as US attorney for Montana. The senate "ethics committee" will investigate and find no wrongdoing by Baucus. The corruption and crookedness continues unabated.
Senate Finance Committee Chairman Max Baucus was romantically involved with a former staffer when he recommended her earlier this year to become the next U.S. attorney for Montana, a spokesman said.
The Montana Democrat and his former state office director Melodee Hanes began their relationship in the summer of 2008..............................
Every job has it's perks. She could be qualified for the job. Everybodys got a girl friend these days get paid off. They don't sell stocks to cover that as well do they?
Hmmm, didn't he "use to" oppose the healthcare bill in the Senate?

This could steal a little thunder from the health care as he was one of the main authors of the Senate bill. I hope it throws a jam into things and that this turkey bill goes under.
I know they're "more" than I ever will be but in my mind I'm glad to have ended up a simple carpenter. The stuff they have to live with creeps me out. Their entire lives are on the edge. It's a wonder any of them ever close their eyes peacefully in death.
