Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Evict everyone from the House of Representatives

Below is a link to an organization that I have recently learned about called GOOOH (Get out of our house). It is an independent nonpartisan organization that was started by a guy just like you and me who was tired of the status quo of American politics and fearful of the agenda of the current government. The objective of this organization is to remove everyone from the House of Representatives and replace them with ordinary people who have the American people at heart rather than the special interests, PACs and party that fund them. Through a selection process they will advance one member from GOOOH in each of the 435 districts to run against the “career politicians” next fall. I was skeptical of the legitimacy of such an organization until I went out on a limb and attended a meeting this past weekend at a restaurant here in Houston where the founder spoke. I thought I might find a bunch of crazy right wing conservatives but what I found was a room full of people who have the same conviction that I have about not sitting on the sidelines and watching this nation drift further and further away from the path that was set forth by our founding fathers. I have decided to join this group and put forth my effort to make a difference. I know it sounds crazy but I encourage you to take a look at this website. Please tell your friends about GOOOH and get the word out so we can make a difference next fall!

Government is doing just what it's supposed to be doing, getting rid of it is the answer and to do that all it would take is for people, all people to get along. When one person takes advantage of another government is born. The greater the abuse the larger it grows.

Replacing people with different people isn't my idea of a winnig situation, just more of the same.

Did you not look at the website to see what the organization is about? Government is not doing what it is supposed to be doing. Government is supposed to be for the people, not for the advancement of elitists' own opinions. Replacing people with people will work when the new people view government as a public service and not a career. This organization is about restoring integrity and statesmanship to our beloved nation. I strongly encourage everyone to take a look at the website to see if it pulls at your heart. If everyone would just stand up and make their voice heard, we could make a difference!

I see they have the site fixed again.

If you understand government historically it is doing what it's supposed to be doing. It's like a loan shark.

Why do you need government? Only as a last resort to try and right a wrong which it exacts a hefty price for and does a poor job of fixing a problem.

What is anyones needs that can't be provided by the people if the people are willing to get along? Nothing!

When the people are abused by the market it's last resort is the government which like a loan shark is a terrible solution. Why do you think we're in the political shape we are now? The abuse of the market. If the market had made friends with the people government would shrink. If the market would lead by example taking the high ground the people would as well. Remember we are just sheep and go where we're lead or chased too. The market is where the answer is and unless it cleans up it's act freedom will be gone. They are the leaders.

T. Roosevelt went after the big shots who were running the country and he took them on. All kinds of wrongs were righted to protect the people. Sounds good until you realize what happened, government grew and someone who didn't have his morals came along and used his work against the people. That's government! That's how government works. Now you want others to enact things to right wrongs and soon those will be used against the people by others when the simple solution is

love your neighbor.

Government is a terrible solution to a problem but the short term delight when it sucker punches those who've taken advantage of the people like the health care industry is getting right now sure makes people feel vindicated even though it's just tightening the noose around their necks.

Political pukes who are elected to the US congress plan to make a career of being a congressman or senator, promises to the contrary. The first thing they do is to back the political agenda of the villain in the white house if he is of their party; or to oppose the villian in the white house if he is not of his party. Only one other thing matters, taking filty lucre from lobbyists. The concerns of constituents back home do not matter.

The US congress has an approval rating that wavers around 20 percent-lower than whale crap. You would think that the re-election rate of congressmen would be very low. Not so at all: The folks who whine the most about congress see nothing wrong with their congressional puke so they just keep on sending him/her back to DC.
