Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default No Longer Safe to be a Child?

What in the devil (maybe that IS the problem) has happened to our society?

In the latest instance of what seems to be an endless stream of young lives mercilessly terminated, now I stare at a photo online of a little girl, a trusting look on her face, in the arms of some animal who is carrying her so many steps closer toward her death. Do you think she knew that? It's just heartbreaking.

Health care, foreign policy - yeah, they can all anger me too. But I'm finding less and less reason to believe in the humanity of this nation and nothing makes my own blood boil when a little child cannot grow up without the threat of something like this happening to them. Of course, it's probably not something that concerns them much, considering that the people who are spilling their blood are people they trust - parents, in particular.

God save the children.... Our society doesn't seem to give a crap about them.

In my own backyard. I can't even watch or read about this anymore. My heart goes out to her dad who raised her up until the last month and then made the mistake to turn her over to her very own mother. I'm first in line to shoot the mother. I promise to only wound her if given the chance of a civilian firing squad.

reinstate public executions for cases such as this
slow and painful -inline with that depicted in Braveheart.

That's what my wife keeps saying, too. And, I can't say that I'd blame either of you for not wanting to. I wonder though. How many good people just can't stand to watch it anymore? I can't stand it, either. But I do watch it along with all the rest of the news, and seeing it nearly EVERY SINGLE WEEK just fuels my own rage. Maybe it's time all of us did watch it, and did call our local lawmakers and DEMAND that our laws start protecting children. Let's get their minds off ridiculous agendas like "hate crimes" and get down to the business of dealing with animals like these people the way they should be - and send a message to those who might consider doing something so horrific, "the penalty is extremely high and terminal".

And I wonder, would the smug little smirk on the "alleged" abductor's face look the same when what little brain he has is sucked out the exit wound on the other side of his head? That's way, waaaaay to quick though. But, we cannot abide "cruel and unusual punishment", either. Much as some of us would favor it in cases like these. No one can ever repay a debt of this magnitude to a just and moral society. However, those two words aren't what I'd use to describe our society any longer.

And, another little girl somewhere has stopped dreaming...

This kind of stuff really does make me wanna puke. The so called "mother" of that little girl sold her to a sexual predator.

At the same time this kind of stuff is going on there are folks who are opposed to the registration of sexual predators, child molesters and rapists. A little girl near here was molested by a registered sex offender. The family moved into a nice home in a nice neighborhood without first checking the sex offender registry: The child sex offender lived about four houses down the street.

For years the state of OK refused to make public a sex offender registry for fear that folks would find out that their favorite school teacher or deacon was on the list: Finally the feds forced Oklahomas hand on the matter. Here is the sex offender registry for a Lawton, OK area code. There are some really sick puppies on the loose.

Not a popular perspective, but keep in mind that up until a generation ago, people and the authorities were very reluctant to pursue investigations of child molestation. People are much, much more likely to report, investigate, and prosecute molestors. So, I don't know if it is any more dangerous today or it is just a matter of massive media coverage of some bad cases giving that appearance.

Society is sick and we will keep it illing as long as we follow the liberal mindset. That poor young lady desirved to die, because her mother and boyfriend were just misunderstood.

Makes me want to puke. There is not a hell bad enough for those who harm the innocent.

Exactly, that what I was telling my wife today, they will probably get 10 years because they were on drugs, and the poor little girl will still be dead, not to mention the HELL she had to endure before she went home to heaven!

I hate to even watch the news anymore!

No they won't, they put pedophiles with other perverts... I know the person that molested my granddaughter was sent to prison, THEY ARE PROTECTED!!!
They keep them from the general population and put them in blocks with their own kind. then the love contiunes.
