Default Army Should Have Booted Hasan

Hasan was bad news from the very beginning of his medical training. He was belligerant, lazy and a religious zealot. They let this guy stay in the US military because he is a Muslim, period. PC at its finest. The US Army assignment folks made a deliberate decision to sent Hasan off to Ft. Hood where there were lots of shrinks who could take over his workload.

Yep, Rather than clean up their dirty laundry, the folks at Walter Reed sent their dirty laundry off to Ft. Hood.

Quote:
WASHINGTON – A group of doctors overseeing Nidal Malik Hasan's medical training discussed concerns about his overly zealous religious views and strange behavior months before the Army major was accused of opening fire on soldiers and civilians at Fort Hood, Texas.

Doctors and staff overseeing Hasan's training viewed him at times as belligerent, defensive and argumentative in his frequent discussions of his Muslim faith, a military official familiar with several group discussions about Hasan said. The official was not authorized to speak publicly about the meetings and spoke on condition of anonymity.

As a psychiatrist in training, Hasan was characterized in meetings as a mediocre student and lazy worker, a matter of concern among the doctors and staff at Walter Reed Army Medical Center and the Uniformed Services University of the Health Sciences military medical school, the official said.

The concerns about Hasan's performance and religious views were shared with other military officials considering his assignment after he finished his medical training, and the consensus was to send him to Fort Hood, the official said. Fort Hood was considered the best assignment for Hasan because other doctors could handle the workload if he continued to perform poorly and his superiors could document any continued behavior problems, the official said.

The question is how many more are out there just like him? I don't think I'd be very comfortable going into a combat situation with a Muslim!

I think I read somewhere that there are 2000 Muslims in the military. They all need to be looked at closely and too bad if that isn't PC. This whole thing is just like the don't ask don't tell. Put your head in the sand and it will be OK.

We can put alot of this blame on people like Jesse Jackson , Al Sharpton and the ilk like these two. They got too many people worried about being called a racists that they are too afraid to do what is right.

If he had been a Christian, they would have booted his butt right away. This is a great indication of how bad P.C. has gotten. I blame this whole mess on P.C..

Just had another thought about this situation. Do you all think this could be a product of the military, CIA, or FBI fearing repercussions due to Holders push to have the CIA prosecuted? I can see how this would cause fear in a person of authority, knowing Holder and crew are just waiting to prosecute. I feel we have created a situation to where you are damned if you do and damned if you don’t.

You know, if this man's military career began during the Bush years, then this must be Bush's fault, eh falcon?
