Why in the hell does no one initiate impeachment proceedings against our elected officials and convict them?
To be impeached in the USA one must be charged with treason, bribery, or other high crimes and misdemeanors.
There has to be some good representatives that are not impeachable themselves that can initiate impeachment proceedings against members of congress, the VP and POTUS.
How many cases against our senators, representatives, VP, and POTUS could be made on just the bribery charge alone? Never mind treason and other crimes like extortion.

All congressmen are crooked. It would be like the Italian Mafia trying itself tor murder. A member of congress, Rep. Alcee Hastings, was impeached as a federal judge for taking bribes.
I fear that the best we can do is to vote every stinking one of them out the next time they run. Look at how many times some of these bums have been re-elected. It is time for everybody to get involved and vote them out. We may get more of the same but after while, maybe, they will remember who the hell is boss, it is not them.
Term limits? They aren't going to amend the constitution to limit their power any more than they are going to impeach themselves.
What about Michele Bachmann?
Think she is clean enough to start impeachment proceedings?

It requires dozens of congressmen acting in unison to begin impeachment proceedings. They are too busy collecting money from lobbyists to even think of impeaching any politician.
The two partys in DC go at each others throats on TV in the daytime. Then they party together with their lobbyists at night; laughing at the dumb butts back home who keep sending them to congress.
Well every time Bush said anything Pelosi and her cronies we saying IMPEACH! Funny now how she and the rest of her Liberal crooks do whatever they want and get away with it.

Partisanship is too prevalent to allow any group to start an impeachment. It isn't what is good for the nation anymore it is what is good for the party. Getting members to cross that isle is like pulling hemeroids. Term limits would help to keep the power and corruption level lower.

We are just following suit with the rest of the world.. China, N. Korea, Venezuela, Russia,Cuba and so on. After all those countries have been held in high regard by the current administration!
