Allah Ahkbar! at Fort Hood, but Obama says don't jump to conclusions
When the professor was arrested looking like he was breaking and entering a home, then being uncooperative and abrasive to police, Obama himself jumped to conclusions by calling it racism. Whassup with that? Sounds like a case of "Do what I say, not what I do!"
The media are going out of their way to avoid any mention of any basis for Hasan's actions beyond labelling him a nutjob or whack-o. Who or what is POTUS trying to protect?
Hasan's actions were themselves based on racism and anti-Christian intolerance that is inherent throughout the muslim faith. Events like this have played out through history all over the world. The root of his actions lie in the philosophy that it's okay to commit violence against infidels.
This is sad and tragic, but failure to approach the real problem(s) is even more tragic.

Reason: left out some clarifying language
My feelings toward Islam are no secret here. Neither are my solutions, as you all may be able to guess. My problem is a president who does not lead, a media which does not report, and it's all just business as usual. Sooner or later, there will be domestic reprisals against muslims...IMO that cannot be escaped. It's only a matter of when, and what will be the precipitating factor. There may never be a precipitating factor, but you can't tell me that nobody's thinking about 'what if..'. If not, we've got far more problems than we think.
The vast majority of Muslims in the USA just want to work, live in peace and prosper. To paint a small minority with a broad brush and call all of them terrorists in un-American.
If the idiot who killed those troops at Ft. Hood had been of any faith other than Muslim he would have been dismissed as "crazy." Well, the scumbag is crazy. Folks go crazy over any number of issues, including religion. Look at John Brown.
The day that Tim McVeigh blew up the Murrah building in OK City; Dirty Dave McCurdy, a former OK congressman, got on TV and said the Muslims did it. The only Muslim to leave the OK City airport that day was arrested in England and accused of the crime. A pregnant Arab Muslim woman was attacked in OK City by rednecks and lost her baby as a result.
What does that have to do with a guy who kills people while saying the same phrase, translated "god is great," as the 9/11 hijackers? He was praising his god at the very same time he committed the murders, and had even gotten in heated disputes with military personnel over the war, saying it was an attack against muslims. But we're to believe religion isn't a motive at all? PLEASE!!! BTW, he signed up for service knowing what the conflict was, and that he was paid to serve THIS country. He could have quit at any time and not have been deployed at all.
I agree most muslims are peaceful people, even if they don't publicly denounce the terrorists to draw the distinction between them and the extremists. But we're not talking about most muslims, we're talking about the ones who are planning in advance, then murdering people, and hence are terrorists.
It is not in the best interests of the shrill media outlets to air these condemnations by Islamic organizations of the attack on US troops at Ft. Hood by a Muslim.
There are a million different reasons to murder. Even when you have a guy in custody and have a million shrinks interview him, it's not that easy to understand his motivations. Jumping to conclusions is for kids and the uneducated...
