Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default GOP collects a few liberal seats.

I guess blaiming Bush has ran its course. Dont quite work as well as it did last year. Wonder if this will be a true referendum.

And I love how Obama, during his campain for Corzine said, "We have been cleaning up a mess made by the last guy". Great, Obama understands, Corzine was the other guy who made the mess of N.Y.. I guess Obama is either dumber than he appears, or he really thinks Americans are to dumb to remember.

What happened up in NY. Rep seat since the 1800's.

Sounds like they understood that we need more Democratic votes in Congress to get things accomplished.

NJ is still suffering from Kristy Todd Whitman. Wait to Christie gets that state going again, just like Bush did in the US.

From what I've heard, the democrat who was elected in NY leans less to the left than the RINO he replaced...

Why on Earth do we need more idiot Democrat votes in Congress to get things accomplished? The Clowns control both houses of Congress by substantial margins, and we've got a purebred Socialist in the White House. Republicans can't stop the idiots from doing whatever they want at this point...

What happened in NY? Can you not read the news? A wolf in sheep's clothing liberal sabotaged the race. Duh!?!? And this is a sign to you that the people want more liberalism, while the people elect conservatives to two governorships. Your head is in the clouds. And by your trolling style and low post count, I speculate that you have been here before under a different name...

Now that is funny. The Democrat was more of a conservative than the Republican. This is what is wrong with the Republican party. Too many, under the Bush years, moved left to try to jump on the Demo band waggon. We are now seeing the tide shift. I have many Democratic friends that are more conservative than me. I also have Republican freinds that are liberal. It isnt so much a Demo vs Rep thing as it is a Conservative vs liberal thing. And since most of the Democrats are thrusting Liberals to the front, they will soon see their demise.

FYI
Regan was a conservative Democrat. He switched parties when he saw this same thing happening in the 70s. Look at JFKs recored, he was more conservative than he was liberal. Does this sound like a Liberal, And so, my fellow Americans, ask not what your country can do for you; ask what you can do for your country."

It could be that the Dem won in NY because there was no republican candidate. She with drew before the election. Makes a difference. He was almost defeated by a third party candidate who just threw his hat in the ring recently. Baby made four trips trying to save the Dem, I think that cost him his job. It is goping to be like when Clinton tried to help Gore. The Dems will want him to stay out of their state.

Pro-gunners, do not get your expectations too high for the new NJ governator. Republican governors and Democrat governors in NJ are pretty much alike when it comes to guns. Remember Christine Todd Whitman and her position on NJs "assault weapons" ban.
