Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default To The Owners Of THis Web Page

This place is great and I thank you for a great job, but I have a question/complaint

I see a ad here (link) with President Obama and Gov. Jon Corzine of NJ, why would you allow this ad to be put on here?

when they both surpport gun control and Corzine is against all forms of hunting, and since he took office here in NJ he has banned our bear hunting, and he doesn't believe in the state fish & game dept.

I think that the owners besides doing a great job, are being hypocrits

Here is the link to the ad: http://my.barackobama.com/page/conte...FQRM5QodK0OaMQ

It don't matter, they are the owners of this site, they can dictate what ads they will not allow to be displayed. I agree with Bowhuntercop, it is despicable that the owner's of this site would allow advertisement for two blatantly anti gun anti hunting politicians. The rest of us on this board have to be politically correct so some yahoo's panties don't get all up in a bunch but the ownership allows this garbage.

They have little control over something they own? well then either they don't own it, they don't care, or we aren't in AMERICA anymore, cause last time I checked, we all had rights, we all had choices

So you've seen the contract from Google? You know how it works and how ads get put on here?

Gentleman... odds are the owners don't hunt, don't own a gun, and could give hoot about us and our rights. I'm sure this is a money only adventure for them. Of course this is purely speculation, but the evidence suggests my suspicions.

It hasnt been till recently they started hosting ads through Google. Before, it was all hunting related.

When you sign a contract you cede some of your rights to get something in return. In this case Google runs the advertisements it sells and the web site is paid a fee.

If this web site refused to show the advertisement I am almost certain Google would sue them. Google will not allow a precedent to be set where any of the hundreds of web sites it has contracts with is able to decide for philosophical reasons which Google advertisements can be shown and which can not.
