BCS and federal politics

I hate the thought of the gov't wasting precious time and resources on this, when so many more important issues are at stake, but I hate the BCS so much, I'd like to see something shake it up a little.

I bet Obama will jump on this. He is great at "duck and cover". This will be a great feel good story for mainstream media. Something to get the focuse off Obama's lack of ability.

I agree 100%. This should take the heat off him screwing everything up!! I mean, it's not like he has anything else to do, the economy is in shambles, the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan need attention, unemployment is in double digits, Yep he needs to get involved in the BCS, not like he could screw that up anymore than it already is! Sound to me like Hatch is been haning around too many Liberals.

Well, if Congress can drag in a bunch of ex-jocks and badger them with questions about whether they took steroids in the early 1990s, then they probably feel well within their rights to take on the issue of the BCS.
