Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default More on Cass Sunstein

Heard this on the radio this a.m., but haven't fact checked it yet...

Apparently, he wrote a book a few years back, "Nudge" or "Nudged," in which he argued that the state should have the right to harvest the organs of terminally ill patients, WITHOUT their consent, for transplants to others.

Can't find anything he wrote about harvesting organs of the terminally ill. Sunstein does advocate mandatory organ removal from the deceased.

As I said, I didn't fact check it... Regardless, I find this proposed government confiscation of organs, based on "presumed consent" to be utterly offensive. Almost makes me want to remove my consent to donate from my driver's license.

Sunstein may have said he wanted to take organs from the terminally ill. i just could not find it with during a quick search. In any event, taking organs from deceased folks who did not wish to be organ donors is very radical thinking. The fact that Sunstein is now an Obama czar makes me a little sick.

What a novel idea, the Chinese have been doing this for years. From this Barry's prospective, China is a model for us to follow.
