Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default How Would Reporters Interview Jesus Today?

Although this is somewhat of a religious question, it's also a political one since almost every reporter today is a political animal with an agenda. Given how they interview others today, how do you think they would interview Jesus Christ and what would they say about his message? Would they just try to censor him because of BHO? Would they try to cross wits with him regarding ethical issues? Ask him difficult questions about nationalized health care? Or would they even care?

They would never interview Him! They don't interview people now that can easily make them look silly. Even when they do interview someone intelligent, they almost never give them a real opportunity to answer completely.

They'd take all his comments out of context and try to change his message. Thank God (pun intended) they've been unsuccessful so far in doing that with the written Word.

Come to think of it: What would the newsies say after Jesus and his entourage wrecked the trading floor on Wall St? Bet that the movers and shakers on Wall St. would be whining, wetting their panties and controlling the slant of the news after the event.

Some of the evangelicals are drug thru the mud because they have created a laundry list for themselves. If you call yourself holy but you really aren't then you will no doubt become attractive to the media. I think the media has shown respect for other religious figures who don't have such laundry lists. People like Billy Graham, Mother Teresa, Pope John Paul, Dalai Lama have not been brought down by the media because although they are all probably not perfect either, they at least have shown a level of dignity in what they say and how they act.

I can't buy that for a second. They make their own laundry lists to go after anyone they don't like. Palin would be a perfect example where 95 percent of the crap they drug out about her was made up BS without even the smallest grain of truth. The liberal press is the cesspool of this nation.

He'd be questioned today much like he was then. The people 2,000 years ago that asked Jesus questioned tried loaded questions, trick questions, trapping questions, and political agenda questions (read the gospels and look closely).

The people today would be equally inept at succeeding in their efforts. Jesus would answer the heart of the matter, see through and walk through their subterfuge, and both attract and repel the people around him, depending on their hearts.

You guys are funny! I guess you guys don't realize that Jesus Christ was far from a household name when he walked the earth. He had plenty of doubters then. So if you had someone go to a TV news reporter and claimed that he was the saviour of the world and could even walk on water you wouldn't be at least a bit skeptical about it all? You guys would believe it all without a second thought? Or maybe you would believe it if you saw it on the FOX network but wouldn't if you saw it on CNN?

Good point.

Then a now, he would have had his followers. Those who heard the word and accepted it. It is called faith.
