SCOTUS to Hear Chicago Gun Case

The SCOTUS will hear the Second Amendment suit against Chicago next year. Meanwhile, if Obama appoints another justice to SCOTUS it will not turn out well for us.

The court said it will review a lower court ruling that upheld a handgun ban in Chicago. Gun rights supporters challenged gun laws in Chicago and some suburbs immediately following the high court's decision in June 2008 that struck down a handgun ban in the District of Columbia, a federal enclave.

The most likely replaced Judge is already the most liberal. So the balance should be the same. Now if something happens to one of the more moderate/conservative judges, we are screwed.

On another note, Chicago is a great place to look at when it comes to gun controle. I saw a study the other day. Can't remember the time frame, I believe it was over a year or two. Anyway, there were 600+ kids shot in said time frame, with over 30 deaths in the last year. What a wonderful place. Lets hope Obama makes all of America just as fine as Chicago.
