First issued in 2001, the stamp commemorates the two most important festivals in the Islamic calendar: Eid al-Fitr and Eid al-Adha. On these days, Muslims wish each other “eid mubarak,” the phrase featured in calligraphy on the stamp, which translates as “blessed festival” or “may your religious holiday be blessed.”
Why? Islam is no worse than any other religion. There are gobs of Christian related stamps. Why arent you crying about those?
Because I'm a Christian. I make no apologies. And I do not hide my disdain for islam.
And Christianity as a religion has not declared a war/jihad on America.
And I believe you're dead wrong on this. islam is worse than any other religion. And it's not just a religion, it's a political party, a government system. And it flies in the face of everything America stands for. The only reason we tolorate them in this country, is because they take advantage of our freedoms. They take advantage of our bill of rights.
And don't get me wrong. I don't want to change the way our country is. I love the fact that someone can be whatever religion they want to be. But I don't have to like it. But I have, and will, put myself in harms way to defend ANY American's freedoms.
