Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default This is scary. School kids sing praises to Obama at school

Elementary School Students Reportedly Taught Songs Praising President Obama

Nearly 20 young children are captured in an online video as they sing songs that overflow with campaign slogans and praise for "Barack Hussein Obama," as they repeatedly chant the president's name and celebrate his accomplishments.

A video posted on YouTube appears to show a New Jersey elementary school class being taught to sing praises of the "great accomplishments" of President Obama.
The video shows nearly 20 young children taught a song overflowing with campaign slogans and praise for "Barack Hussein Obama," repeatedly chanting the president's name and celebrating his accomplishments, including his "great plans" to "make this country's economy No. 1 again."
The video identifies the kids as students at the B. Bernice Young Elementary School in Burlington, N.J., with taping taking place last June.
The song quotes directly from the spiritual "Jesus Loves the Little Children," though Jesus' name is replaced with Obama's: "He said red, yellow, black or white/All are equal in his sight. Barack Hussein Obama."
Among other lyrics, touting a fair-pay bill Obama signed in January: "He said we must be clear today/Equal work means equal pay."

The author of the full lyrics is unknown, but a woman -- possibly a teacher -- can be heard in the beginning of the video correcting and helping a student who has forgotten the words.

The office of the superintendent of Burlington Township School District did not provide comment or confirmation to FOXNews.com that the songs were recorded at B. Bernice Young Elementary when contacted by phone Thursday.
The video was originally posted Sept. 6, two days before Obama made an address to the nation's schoolchildren in which he praised the American education system as the best in the world and urged students to stay in school.
"At the end of the day, we can have the most dedicated teachers, the most supportive parents, and the best schools in the world," Obama said.

Did the children refer to the President as "Dear Leader," as is customary in North Korea?

Remember when the Democratic leaders -- Pelosi, Reid, perhaps also "Dear Leader" but I'm not sure -- were rendering their judgment that those speaking in opposition to the Democratic Healthcare Reform bill were Republican operatives, that they were NOT just independent citizens voicing their opinions? If it is fair and reasonable for them to judge that these were Republican operatives and the opposition was organized by the Republican Party, isn't it in turn reasonable to judge that this prosylitization -- this propaganizing, to speak truthfully -- was done by a Democratic operative under the auspices of an organized Democratic Party propaganization machine? Seems reasonable to me.

Yes, it is scary. Zealots are scary. School teachers who think this is appropriate are scary. I hope the school teacher in question is fired.

Today was the first I actually took the time to listen to the song. Scarier than when I had just read about what was in the song. Can anyone imagine what the news media would have done with this if this had occured under George Bush's term in office, with Bush's name substituted for Obama's, and some of Bush's pet themes embedded in the words of the song? Pure propaganda. Leadership worship aimed at establishing a cult of the charismatic leader -- pure Adolf Hitler stuff. About the only comforting thought is that surely this was not mediated and/or organized by the Democrats and/or Obama.

I wish I knew the words that were in the song, difficult to hear clearly what the kids are saying. I did get the "equal work means equal pay." I'm wondering what that is supposed to mean? Does that mean someone working 8 hours as a clerk in a convenience store ought to get paid the same amount of money that I get paid working 8 hours as a patent agent writing and prosecuting patent applications, needing both my BS Electrical Engineering education and my BA English education and my experience both as a technical writer and as an engineer? What does "equal work means equal pay" . . . MEAN?!!! I think what might make more sense would be "providing equal value means equal pay," although even this doesn't quite get it. Should people who move from one company to another -- as when skills shortages exist and a company that is growing and needing skilled people to develop new products hires them away from a competitor with higher salary, and then this new person gets paid more money than a long time employee of the company -- shouldn't the person who made the move be rewarded for their risk taking? The risk being changing jobs, taking work with a new group of people that you don't know much about, new boss could be bad news, etc. I think the system works. If you don't like your pay, go find someone else who will pay you more. You are free to changes jobs.

I found the tune it was sung to interesting...... Origionally, "mine eyes have seen the Glory of the comming of the Lord."

They picked a decidedly Christian song which refers to the comming of the Lord? Coincidence? I think not. I think that's how they view him.
