Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Bill O'Reilly Likes a kind of Public Option

Quote:
O'REILLY: The public option now is done. We discussed this, it's not going to happen. But you say that this little marketplace that they're going to set up, whereby the federal government would subsidize insurance for some Americans, that is, in your opinion, a public option?

OWCHARENKO: Well, it has massive new federal regulation. So you don't necessarily need a public option if the federal government is going to control and regulate the type of health insurance that Americans can buy.

O'REILLY: But you know, I want that, Ms. Owcharenko. I want that. I want, not for personally for me, but for working Americans, to have a option, that if they don't like their health insurance, if it's too expensive, they can't afford it, if the government can cobble together a cheaper insurance policy that gives the same benefits, I see that as a plus for the folks.

Well if I understand it right. pre-existing conditions will be put in a pool, without, a government option. Mostly elderly.According to his, Oslamas, speech. Thats like a kid with 3 accidents trying to insure a muscle car. If people want this **** at least give the old guys a fighting chance. What goes around comes around.

I like to call him Oh'Really?

I ususally detest him and his drivel, but occasionally he makes sense, like with this issue, and the time he grabbed that girl on the ass. Who wouldn't have been pleased with that?

O'Riely is a independent who's ideas are all over the map. Sometimes he makes sense to me and sometimes I wonder where the hell he is coming from. I guess I agree with him about half of the time.

The one place that I have to give him a lot of credit for is his work to protect the kids.

BTW I do not support any kind of a option that is run by the government.

The conservative tent is a large one. I don't agree with everything O'Reilly says, or Dick Morris, or Newt Gingrich. That's OK. I still respect their opinion and listen to their voices. On the issue of this thread, O'Reilly's opinion that he wants a public option, I disagree with O'Reilly. I didn't sign an oath in blood anywhere to have my mind programmed by O'Reilly's thought or anyone elses. I don't know what the point is or why it is remarkable that O'Reilly has this opinion. If you are thinking that conservatives are mindless automatons who follow a rigid party line without deviation, you haven't been very observant.

Too funny. It's not surprising to see someone from the left trying to put up a popular guy in an attempt to defend their undefendable position. It's not surprising to see the person counting down the days for his neighbor to pay for his insurance, endorse O'Reilly's position. I just have to ask, why did he rip ORielly's idea of paying for the education of doctors and in return they work for 10 years at free government clinics making only 50 k/year?

This is his speech to the house. of course i am getting older and don't hear as well. BUT that damn TV was full volume. he is just plain a liar, liar, liar and any fool who does not know that is just plain well you know stupid. I don't know or understand the whole proposal but I do know that anything he says is BS

Hey Denny, the biggest lie was when he kept repeating "His Plan". He has no plan, never has put forth a plan and doesn't plan to put forth a plan.
