The first website that ever gave me chills
Washington, D.C. - On September 25th there will be a national prayer gathering of Muslims on the west front of the U..S. Capitol Building. They are expecting at least 50,000 to attend from mosques all across America. They will gather to pray from 4:00 AM until 7:00 PM. The gathering will take place by the site where U.S.. Presidents have been inaugurated since 1981. The organizers say that it was Obama's inauguration speech in January and his speech broadcast from Egypt in June that gave them the idea for this prayer gathering on Capitol Hill.
They have a website set up for this event. If you never look at another website look at this one, especially the final words:
Why do you assume that this religion cannot be peaceful? Granted, this many worshipers shall likely include some extremists, but the Muslim faith as a whole should be respected like any other religion. It would be unfair for anyone to stop them from celebrating their faith at this event as long as it’s within the law. Keep in mind: Not all Muslims are terrorists....and not all Catholics kill abortion doctors or bomb clinics.......assumptions poison societies and fester hatred....only terrorists, murders, rapists, pedophiles and stupid people deserve hatred cast upon them.

Thousands of Muslims from all races, creeds, colors and ethnicities will gather for the sole purpose of prayer
Bonds of friendship will be formed between those in attendance, both Muslims and Non-Muslims
Muslim youth will experience tours of the Library of Congress and the Supreme Court.
The peace, beauty and solidarity of Islam will shine through America's capitol.

The founding fathers didn't write the 1st Amendment to protect popular speech, it's there so anyone can have a voice.
Freedom of assembly is there for any American not just the ones you agree with.
Thomas Jefferson while President basically had the same type of problems with(barbary Pirates) muslims. He did not call for the religion to be banned here nor did he try to limit their rights.

Everybody, especially athiests like to quote Thomas Jefferson and Ben Franklin, but what they forget is there was 54 other signers of the declaration of Independence. Many if not most were Christians.
I am not sure why athiest do this. Well, I guess I do know.
Thomas Jefferson was no friend to Christianity, and did the unthinkable in Christian beliefs. He actually rewrote the bible as he saw fit.
