Politics Nothing goes with politics quite like crying and complaining, and we're a perfect example of that.

Default Fox News is reporting tonight

Numbers are being kicked around that there was upwards of 1.7 million in DC on Sat's protest march. Glen Beck makes a good point, it doesn't matter if the officials from the park service don't give official numbers, the politicians KNOW. However, that's not the bigger story.

I don't think that it will matter much longer what the other press reports, Fox blow them all out of the water, the main stream media is fast becoming irrelevant.

FM,

If you believe that there were 1.7M people at the Teabagger fest, you're an even bigger dunce than anyone could have ever imagined. DC fire department estimated the crowd 60-70K, not even 10% of what the fact-averse Beck is claiming.

As to why the eeeeeevil mainstream media is not covering it, because it's 60-70K bumpkins bought and paid for by Freedom Works, a corporate-funded right-wing group masquerading as a grassroots movement.

The reason so many of you are getting behind this sort of ridiculousness is because your party has no platform...just disaffected whiners. Why do you think Joe Wilson is the cause celebre of the conservative movement right now? Because the best the GOP currently has is a moron congressman from SC that should be taking medication for tourettes syndrome.

What are you going to be running on in 2010? "We're not Obama!" Good luck with that.

If you think that only 7oK people showed up in DC then you are an even bigger dunce than you think FM is.

I suppose that you got your figures from ABC? Yeah, they are soooooo reliable when it comes to the facts.

Have you seen any of the video or pictures? I have been to several events where 70k people showed up and I can tell you that there were a heck of a lot more people in DC on the 12th than 70k. Ever been to a football or baseball game? Ever been to a NASCAR race? These events hold 30k to 150k people in one little arena.

There were 450 buses that showed up loaded with people. That is 15-20 thousand people just on buses.

If that is their platform in2010 then be prepared to loose by a land slide.

Time lapse of the march, occurring over a 3+hour time span. Looks like a few more than 70K to me.

The morons on the left ran with "We're not Bush" last time around... Obama has surrounded himself with criminals and radical, extreme-ultra-far-left nutcases. He's quadrupled the deficit, with little discernable effect on the economy. His projections are to quadruple the national debt, and he's pushing for a healthcare program that the CBO says will add hundreds of billions more to the debt. He's pushing government into huge takeovers of the private sector. His policies are pushing Israel toward a pre-emptive strike on Iran's nuclear facilities, which I expect he would like, since it would push oil to over $200 a barrel. Bush wasn't anywhere near as bad.
