Wasn't the media suspiciously quiet during and after the appointment of Van Jones? Same deal. The "main stream" media is neglecting its duty and obligation to inform the American public and has wholly prostrated itself to the false idol of an Obama/Democratic federal government. Anything that may reflect poorly on Obama and/or Democrats will find scarce any room in the "main stream" media.
I hear this discussed by Bernie Goldberg from time to time on FOX. Basically, Goldberg (author of Bias, a book you ought to read if you haven't already) says that the numbers of the mainstream media are dropping dramatically and people are turning to FOX because they know they aren't getting the straight news from main stream media any longer. I'm with Goldberg on the statement "aren't getting the straight news from main stream media," I just don't know if he is right that people are abandonning main stream media to turn to FOX. I hope he is right. I am appalled at the lack of tough questions in the main stream media on Obama and the lack of focus in the main stream medai on the folly enacted by the Obama administration.
